Sorry everyone, I think I've got it locked down now.

The problem is the 'awaiting moderation' group is sending private messages. I thought I had it deactivated, but apparently not.

I Just logged in after half a years absence to see how you were doing over here and found 4 private messages that smell like phishing. Members with 1 or 0 post pretending to be admin accounts and advising me about a virus cc to 4 or 5 others with outside "diagnostic" links.:
